Mythu's "surprise move" seemed a bit silly. If he needed to consume some meat to regenerate his fire, why not just bite off the end of his tail, which would probably grow back anyway, like a lizard? I believe growing back an arm would be a bit more difficult, plus, arms are a bit more useful than tails. You should have given this more thought.
