I think Trixie would be incredibly suspicious of Twilight, because I wouldn't be surprised if she thinks Twilight's friends were the ones to convince Snips and Snails to bring the Ursa back in the first place. They didn't exactly look sorry about what happened to her, and Rainbow Dash was wanting to go after her.

Honestly, Trixie was primarily a jerk to Twilight's friends, who heckled and tried to upstage her. The rest of the town seemed to be enjoying themselves.

No, Twi's friends weren't the only ones who didn't like Trixie's bragging. If you look closely, some of the background ponies do look a little mad.

Still, it did always seem to me that Trixie had an inferiority complex... which is why I would like to see her in another episode.
